Chatterbug
WordPress estate, analytics and SEO for a speech and language therapy practice in Leeds.

Keeping several sites healthy and measurable.
The client
Chatterbug Ltd is a speech and language therapy practice in Leeds. It runs more than one WordPress site, and it needed someone to keep them healthy, measure what they were doing and help the marketing side plan campaigns.
I worked with the practice part-time in 2024, on my own, across both development and marketing. I have built on WordPress since 2013 and run SEO and analytics for clients since 2016, and this role needed both.
My role
Most of the work was the kind that stops problems before anyone notices them. I maintained and updated the WordPress sites, and worked on their performance and functionality.
On measurement, I set up Google Analytics (GA4), so the practice could see how people found and used the sites. I also set up Google Workspace.
On search, I ran SEO audits across the sites and fixed what they turned up.
On marketing, I worked with the team on content and gave technical support for their digital campaigns, so the content and the sites worked together rather than separately.
What it shows
Not every engagement is a rebuild. Some organisations have a handful of sites that mostly need looking after. They need one person who can do the updates, read the analytics and talk to the marketing side in the same week.
Chatterbug is a small example of the model I now use with firms such as Din Solicitors: one consultant across marketing and development. If your sites need that kind of care, book a call.
