The short version.

I started on Elance in May 2013, building pixel-perfect WordPress themes from PSDs for clients I never met. Over the next eight years that became 250+ contracts on Upwork, and the work moved from pages to platforms: APIs, infrastructure and the front-ends on top of them.

In 2020 I joined Worldview International Group on contract and was soon handed Find Visa Counsellor to lead, then Worldview Pro. Both went from MVP to live products on web, iOS and Android. At Staff Asia I ran a team of WordPress and Laravel developers.

In 2022 I founded Devute, a studio where a cross-functional team has delivered 700+ projects. I stepped back from the directorship in 2026 and advise from behind the scenes. Today I consult, most recently embedded with Din Solicitors across marketing and development, and I teach through Everskill.

    Over 250 completed contracts for international clients after Elance and oDesk merged into Upwork.

    First engagement with the group, contributing to existing projects before being handed Find Visa Counsellor.

    Joined as Senior WordPress Developer in March; promoted to lead a team of WordPress and Laravel developers by May.

    Led the overhaul from Bootstrap to Nuxt.js, replaced Twilio with a custom Adonis.js chat system and redesigned the product. Four mobile apps shipped.

Off the clock

Beyond the work.

Born in Sylhet, now settled in England with my family. I still write code most weeks because I like it, not because a project needs it. Weekends are for teaching, reading and the occasional side product that never ships.

How I work

Audit before advice. The first two weeks are spent reading code, analytics and the team’s backlog. Recommendations come after.
Ship, then scale. I’d rather launch a smaller thing in six weeks than plan a bigger thing for six months.
Leave the team stronger. Documentation, code review and mentoring are part of every engagement, not extras.
