Devute

What it is

Devute is a UK software studio. It builds websites, web apps and mobile apps, designs AI products, runs Google Ads and SEO, and hosts what it builds. I founded it in 2022, and a cross-functional team of designers, developers and marketers has delivered 700+ projects through it across legal, education, healthcare and retail.

It is for businesses that need a product built and then need it to earn its keep: startups with an idea to test, agencies that need delivery capacity, and small and medium-sized firms that want the web to bring in work.

The problem it solves

A lot of businesses end up with four suppliers: one to design, one to build, one to market and one to host. Each does their part. Nobody owns the whole thing, and when enquiries drop, every supplier can point at another.

Devute puts those four jobs under one roof. The people who build the site are the people who run the campaigns and keep it online, so there is one place to go when something needs fixing.

How it works

Every project runs on the same process. One scoping template, one delivery process, weekly demos to the client and written updates inside the team. I set that up so the studio could run without me at the front, and it does.

Where it stands
